Seed is a two-year program of the Mennonite Central Committee that brings together young adults from around the world to reflect, serve and work for peace.
Seed participants live in communities in either Colombia or Bolivia and serve with MCC partner agencies that are working on grassroots processes.
During their two years, Seed participants reflect as a group on a range of topics in order to better understand how macro-issues connect to the local contexts where they are serving and to develop greater practical capacity to effectively accompany the work being done in their communities.
As part of Seed’s focus on peace, participants learn to work with and from persons with distinct political, theological and cultural perspectives – first as a group and then going out into their service sites.
